Christian Wilhelm, PhD, is Director of Molecular Diagnostics at CeGaT. He graduated from the University of Göttingen, Germany, specializing in human genetics with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases. His professional diagnostic skills stem from the Hannover Medical School (Hematology and Oncology), the Institute for Human Genetics Freiburg and a Center for Human Genetics in Freiburg. He has gained extensive experience in the establishment of molecular diagnostic methods. His long-standing diagnostic activities focus on neurodegenerative diseases (J. Neurol. 2009), developmental defects, nephropathy, various metabolic diseases and cancer.
