Miriam Döcker joined CeGaT in January 2012. Miriam successfully graduated in biochemistry from the Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen where she specialized in human genetics. During her diploma thesis she worked on protein aggregation in spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3). While still at university, she worked as lab assistant for the Cytogenetic Diagnostic Unit at the University of Tübingen, followed by post-graduate work at the DNA Diagnostics Unit of the Olgahospital in Stuttgart.
